HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training

30-min-hiit-workoutWhen most people think of cardio they think long jogs, hours on the stationary bike or boring elliptical sessions.  Not anymore.  HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is a type of workout that burns more fat in less time.  HIIT cardio involves alternating high intensity exercise with low intensity exercise.  Here are two examples of HIIT cardio that I enjoy doing.

Stairmaster 30 minute workout

2 Minutes level 5-7
30 second sprint level 17-20
Repeat for 30 minutes

Treadmill or outside run 30 min workout

2 Minutes fast pace walk
1 Minute light jog
30 Second sprint
Repeat for 30 Minutes

Not only does HIIT cardio help you burn more fat during your workout but it also increases your metabolism and helps you burn more calories for up to 24 hours after.

Thank you! We did it ourselves. 🙂 Good luck with your design! Check out different templates online! You’d be surprised what you can do without hiring anyone.
